What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Approve Long Term Disability claims and manage related financial duties
- Adjust benefits and recover overpaid benefits as necessary
- Process financial transactions including stop payments, voids, and refund deposits
- Calculate employment income offsets and handle processing of TD1 forms
- Perform other related administrative tasks as required
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Fully bilingual in French and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance
- Experience in accounting, finance, payroll, bookkeeping, or related administrative roles
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook / Office 365
- Knowledge of medical and/or insurance terminology is a plus
