Job summary

Canada Life is seeking a Bilingual Data Integrity Specialist on a 6-month contract to ensure files comply with regulatory standards and support Advisors with accurate trade documentation.

You will review applications, verify paperwork, coordinate with Advisors and Head Office, and stay current with policy changes while delivering clear bilingual service in English and French.

Qualifications

  • College diploma and/or 1-3 years of experience within a regulatory framework working on mutual funds and/or securities.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) required for regular client service in both languages.
  • Strong written, verbal and virtual communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to sort through data and extract insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing business environment and adhere to procedures.
  • Ability to stay composed under pressure and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Review new applications and trade paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
  • Run, compile, save, and compare transaction report information to paperwork.
  • Verify information within Investment Centre as needed.
  • Communicate with advisors and staff regarding missing documentation.
  • Liaise with advisors and head office to resolve investment issues.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Team Coordinator.
  • Track and resolve Not In Good Order transactions and paperwork.
  • Stay up to date on processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Support auditors and maintain compliance records.

Description:

Temporary Full Time

We are looking for a Data Integrity Specialist, Wealth Operations

The Data Integrity Specialist is accountable for ensuring files are compliant within compliance and regulatory standards. Working in close partnership with the field offices, the Data Integrity Specialist will provide ad-hoc value-added verification of trade completeness to Advisors.

What you will do

  • Review new applications, trade paperwork and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Run, compile, save, and compare transaction report information to transaction paperwork for accuracy and retention purposes.
  • Verifying and investigating information within Investment Centre when necessary
  • Communicating with advisors/ Administrative Staff regarding incomplete / missing documentation and requirements.
  • Liaising with Advisors/Admin Staff and possibly Head Office staff for resolution of investment related issues
  • Escalating unresolved issues to Team Coordinator.
  • Track, report and resolve all Not In Good Order transactions/paperwork for advisors
  • Staying up to date on processes, policies, and procedures

What you will bring

  • College diploma and/or 1-3 years of experience within a regulatory framework working on mutual funds and/or securities.
  • Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) required, as the position will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.
  • Strong written, verbal and virtual communications and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to sort through data and pull out meaningful intel.

The base salary for this position is between $48,000 - $75,300 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
