Job summary

Canada Life in Montreal, QC is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to contribute to group retirement service administration. You will become proficient with GPAS and manage data updates, financial transactions, and reporting for a block of business, serving plan administrators, brokers, advisors and plan members.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer service oriented with a positive can-do attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; bilingualism in French and English is an asset in QC.

Responsibilities

• Handle plan and member maintenance on GPAS, including data updates, financial transactions, and reporting.
• Respond to inquiries from plan administrators, brokers, advisors and plan members.
• Manage end-to-end daily administration and contribute to client reporting and annual information returns.
• Liaise with plan administrators and external auditors as needed.
• Resolve sensitive issues in a timely and accurate manner.
