Job summary

Iceberg Finance Group’s iFinance Canada arm is seeking a bilingual Credit Agent in Toronto to join a growing team. The role emphasizes handling English and French communications, supporting credit file analysis, and delivering top-notch customer service in a dynamic office-plus-home setup.

The position offers a pathway into credit decision-making with on-the-job training, weekend rotation, and a Monday-to-Friday-like structure with some weekend work.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and French – proficiency assessment will be required.
• Great Customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills, quick thinker.
• Positive individual with very good attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
• Punctual, professional and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Support approvers in the analysis of credit files.
• Inbound/outbound calls to complete customer files.
• Responding to customer calls and emails.
• Data entry of customer files.
• Credit adjudication (training provided).
• Providing superior professional service to valued clients.
• Working four days per week from the office, one day from home.
• Weekend shifts on rotation, one weekend shift per month.

This position is a great opportunity to build on existing customer service skills as well as to learn consumer credit profile decision-making. Fine tune your multi-tasking abilities, while developing your communication and problem-solving skills. You'll also be able to use both French and English languages daily in this fantastic team environment.
