Job summary

The Ontario Public Service is looking for a bilingual Court and Client Representative (English/French). You will support judges, lawyers, and the public across courtroom and court office settings, handling records, documents, and hearings, including online, hybrid, and in-person formats.

Openings in Barrie, Cobourg, Oshawa and Newmarket include permanent and 12-month temporary contracts. A fast typing speed, advanced French skills, and willingness to travel and work irregular hours are required.

Qualifications

• Typing at least 30 words per minute.
• Oral French at advanced level and written French at advanced-minus level; proficiency confirmed before hire.

Responsibilities

• work with judges, lawyers, the public and justice system participants
• work in courtroom and court office
• manage court records and draft court documents
• support online, hybrid, and in-person hearings
• guide jury selection and manage court materials
