Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a bilingual Control Centre Operator to support a leading financial institution in Mississauga, ON. The role requires fluency in English and French amid a high-security environment, handling incident reporting and monitoring across multiple systems.

The position is part-time, with a 0700-1500 shift, and involves intake, dispatch, and reporting duties within a e2e incident lifecycle. A University/College diploma and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both French and English (verbal and written) is mandatory.
• Relevant University and/or College Diploma
• Minimum two or more years of work experience in Security/Protective Services
• Call Centre/Dispatch Centre/Emergency Response Centre experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using multiple security software systems.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, monitoring of alarms, biometric security devices
• Experience in critical environments where life-safety and business continuity are impacted
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, listening and communication skills
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Intake, triage and elevate incoming calls and emails
• Operate security consoles to receive, assess, and report information
• Dispatch appropriate personnel based on event type
• Categorize and prioritize calls and emails
• Provide alarm monitoring via access control and video displays
• Deal with potentially sensitive incidents
• Perform active monitoring of security systems including CCTV and access control
• Collect information and data, create reports, and communicate with stakeholders
• Escalate incidents to the Supervisor when needed
• Support incidents as directed by the Supervisor
• Advise the Supervisor of urgent matters for proper triage
• Adhere to Allied Universal policies and procedures
• Participate in departmental meetings
• Communicate improvement ideas
• Perform other duties as required.
