Job summary

Carefor Health & Community Services seeks a French Language Liaison to support its French Language Initiative. You will coordinate translation requests, develop resources, and assist with training materials to ensure accessible information for clients, staff, and the community.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with diverse teams across departments, delivering high‑quality language support.

Qualifications

• Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
• Post-secondary education in translation, communications, office administration, business administration, human services, health administration, or related discipline; or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams; Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills; strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate translation requests and manage deliverables for internal and client‑facing materials.
• Develop and review French‑language communications, training resources, presentations, and educational materials.
• Support training administration: registrations, participant communications, attendance tracking, and follow‑ups.
• Create project tracking tools, reports, and updates using Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint and organize documents in Teams.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support the French Language Initiative.
• Ensure resources reflect Carefor’s commitment to quality, accessibility, and client‑centered care.
