The Contingent Labour Office’s (CLO) mandate is to partner with the business to enable an expedited and customer-centric positive approach to engaging external resources while balancing the commercial needs of the business with mitigating risk to the firm. This is achieved by:

  • Utilizing internal contingent workforce expert practitioners, who continuously expand their skills and stay up-to-date on market intelligence.
  • Acting as trusted advisors, educating, challenging the status quo, and advising the business on creative solutions.
  • Delivering a customer-centric approach by minimizing administration efforts, anticipating needs, and actively collaborating with Hiring Managers.
Location

Anywhere in Canada; this is a virtual work opportunity (1-2 days in office per month may be required).

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Leader of the Contract Labour Office (CLO), the Contract Manager will handle processes and challenges related to external resources across Canada, managing over 1000 external resources annually. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising and supporting Hiring Managers in external resource engagement.
  • Handling complex cases, escalations, and negotiations.
  • Managing contract revisions, risk assessments, and compliance matters.
  • Partnering with legal, risk management, procurement, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Responsibilities
  • Promote the CLO’s brand with a customer-centric approach.
  • Manage cases using KPMG’s vendor management system (Flextrack).
  • Train clients on system use and conduct due diligence.
  • Maintain communication and documentation for all cases.
  • Manage complex and high-risk cases, including contract negotiations and risk assessments.
  • Support continuous improvement and participate in projects.
  • Respond to inquiries, generate reports, and handle escalations.
  • Lead education sessions and contribute to firm initiatives.
Qualifications
  • College or University degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in contract labour or contingent workforce case management.
  • Experience drafting third-party agreements and liaising with multiple parties.
  • Knowledge of immigration matters related to resourcing.
  • Bilingual in English and French preferred; excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ServiceNow and Flextrack is an asset.
Compensation

The salary range is CA$73,000 to CA$109,500, with potential bonuses, based on skills and experience. KPMG offers a comprehensive benefits package.
