Job summary

DMC Recruitment is seeking a bilingual Technical Sales Representative to manage an established Ottawa Valley territory in Ontario, Canada. You will combine field presence with strong technical support for contractors, installers, architects and engineers.

You will leverage industry knowledge in building envelope products, read plans, and deliver compelling quotes while working with distribution partners to grow opportunities across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in building envelope, waterproofing, membranes, insulation or related products.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• Ability to read and understand plans, specs, andConstruction documents.
• Experience preparing or supporting quotes and project estimates.
• Strong field presence with a solutions-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an established and active sales territory.
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships.
• Identify new projects, contractors and opportunities.
• Conduct regular field visits with contractors and distributors.
• Provide hands-on technical support on job sites.
• Deliver technical presentations to architects and engineers.
• Read and interpret plans, specs, and project docs.
• Prepare and support quotations and project estimates.
