Job summary

CI Investments Inc. in Ontario seeks a Corporate Branch Manager to supervise AFM/ACM registered individuals and branch locations, ensuring compliance with MFDA/IIROC and internal policies. You will approve new accounts, monitor training, and maintain documentation with timely follow-up on issues.

The role requires at least 5 years in securities, fluent French, and appropriate licenses; an undergraduate degree and securities courses are essential for success in this leadership position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years securities industry experience, with 2 years as Branch Manager or Compliance Officer.
• Fully proficient in French.
• MFDA or IIROC licensed or will be required upon hire.
• Undergraduate degree and securities course completion.
• Strong knowledge of securities legislation and SRO rules.

Responsibilities

• Overall supervisory responsibility for AFM/ACM registered individuals and branch locations.
• Approve new accounts and related forms; ensure documentation completeness.
• Ensure registration compliance and disclosure requirements for clients.
• Monitor training programs and conduct supervisory reviews.
• Report significant client issues to Head Office Compliance.
• Lead ongoing education and training on regulatory requirements.
• Maintain current filing systems and protect client confidentiality.
• Regularly visit sub-branch locations and liaise with regulators.
