OMERS is a leading global real estate investor, developer and manager seeking a Data Analyst/BI Data Analyst in Toronto. You will work with financial and operational data, build automation, and report to executives using Power BI, SQL and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a data analyst/BI data analyst role.
• Strong communication with non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to learn new technologies (e.g., RPA) to improve processes.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel (Power Query); VBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to prioritize analytics and information needs.
• Work with financial and operational data from multiple sources.
• Improve reporting automation and explore new tools and technologies.
• Identify trends and KPIs in large data sets.
• Prepare presentations for executive discussions.
• Ensure data quality and governance in data extracts.
