Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a results-driven Business Intelligence Analyst to join a leading financial institution in Toronto on a contract basis. You will deliver dashboards and insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and be responsible for extracting and transforming data from multiple sources, maintaining data accuracy, and communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of BI or Data Analytics experience.
• Proficiency with Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise data environments.
• Ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, CS, or related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Databricks experience preferred.
• SQL experience.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with different teams to deliver tailored dashboards and insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. You’ll be responsible for extracting and transforming data from multiple sources, maintaining data accuracy, and communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a large enterprise environment and is passionate about driving data-informed business decisions. This role will be 1-2x/week onsite in downtown Toronto, ON.

Skills and Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics roles
• Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau
• Strong experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments
• Ability to interpret and present data insights clearly to non-technical audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Previous FI experience preferred
• Experience with Databricks preferred
• SQL experience
