A global Automotives manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Benefits Administrator to manage and support our employee benefits programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering health, wellness, retirement, and other employee benefit plans, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and high-quality service across the organization.

Benefits Administrator Key Responsibilities :

  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), and wellness initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, resolving issues and providing guidance in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with benefit vendors and insurance carriers to ensure accurate enrollment, billing, and claims processing.
  • Conduct benefits orientation and assist with onboarding of new employees regarding benefit options and enrollment procedures.
  • Maintain accurate benefits records and employee data in HRIS systems; ensure confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local laws (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA) and assist with audits or reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the annual open enrollment process, including communication materials, system updates, and employee support.
  • Analyze benefit usage and trends; provide recommendations for program improvements or cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct deductions and resolve discrepancies.

Benefits Administrator Qualifications :

  • Prefers to have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in a manufacturing or large-scale operational environment.
  • Knowledge of benefit regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid driver's license
