Job summary

BaiTrak Benefit Administrators Inc. is seeking an experienced Benefits Administration Supervisor to lead its benefits administration team and oversee day-to-day administration of group programs.

The successful candidate will supervise administrative staff, ensure service quality, and support client relationships. The role combines operational leadership with hands-on expertise in coordinating client implementations, overseeing renewals and plan changes, and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business administration, human resources, finance, insurance or a related field.
  • Minimum three years' experience in group benefits administration, insurance administration or a related field.
  • Previous experience supervising staff or coordinating administrative workflow.
  • Strong knowledge of group benefits, health spending accounts, pension and savings plans, employee enrolments, billing and carrier administration.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with benefits administration software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, assign and review the work of benefits administration staff.
  • Establish work priorities, schedules and administrative procedures.
  • Monitor workflow, service levels and operational deadlines.
  • Review enrolments, terminations, plan changes, billing, renewals and other administrative transactions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate new client implementations, benefit plan renewals and plan amendments.
  • Resolve escalated issues involving clients, plan members, insurers and benefit providers.
  • Train, mentor and provide technical guidance to benefits administration staff.
  • Monitor work quality and recommend improvements to administrative procedures and internal controls.
  • Prepare operational reports and communicate workflow priorities to management.
  • Perform complex benefits administration, billing reconciliation and account review as required.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of client, employee and financial information.

BaiTrak Benefit Administrators Inc. is seeking an experienced Benefits Administration Supervisor to lead its benefits administration team. Reporting to management, the successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day administration of group benefits programs while supervising administrative staff, ensuring service quality, and supporting client relationships.

This role combines operational leadership with hands-on technical expertise. The successful candidate will coordinate client implementations, oversee benefit plan renewals and changes, review complex administrative matters, support and mentor staff, and work closely with insurers, advisors and clients to ensure accurate and efficient plan administration.

The ideal candidate is an experienced group benefits professional who is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and providing technical leadership on complex benefits administration matters.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex group benefits administration files from implementation through ongoing administration.
  • Demonstrated prior experience designing, implementing and rolling out flexible benefits and group benefits plans, including plan architecture, implementation planning, system configuration and client rollout.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple client implementations, renewals and operational priorities simultaneously.
  • 3 years experience with benefit administration systems
