Why this role is important?

SUMMARY:

To maximize sales of beauty products and services sold by Shoppers Drug Mart.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Sales Expectations: Maximize sales and awareness of promotional programs, promote a positive attitude towards selling, and encourage customer participation in the PC Optimum program.
2. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provide superior customer service, promote products and marketing efforts, and actively promote and book appointments for in-store events.
3. OPERATIONS: Exhibit and promote products and services, attend vendor training and educational sessions, and adhere to Cosmetics Operating Standards.
4. GENERAL: Comply with health and safety regulations, store policies, loss prevention policies, act professionally, and perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Independent thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Selling skills in cosmetics.

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven consultative and selling skills with a track record of success.
• Knowledge of beauty products and services.
• Ability to conduct consultations and demonstrate application techniques.
• Effective communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves.
