Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, keeping the customer at the centre of everything you do.

Why this role is important?

SUMMARY:

To maximize sales of beauty products and services sold by Shoppers Drug Mart.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Sales Expectations: Maximize sales and awareness of promotional programs; possess a "selling is fun" attitude; promote sales of beauty products; encourage participation in the PC Optimum program.
2. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Promote a positive environment for customers and coworkers; always prioritize the customer and provide superior service; utilize eClienteling; promote products and in-store events.
3. OPERATIONS: Exhibit and promote products and services; attend vendor trainings and workshops; adhere to Cosmetics Operating Standards.
4. GENERAL: Comply with health, safety, store policies, and loss prevention procedures; act professionally; perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Independent thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Selling skills in cosmetics or luxury goods.

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven consultative and selling skills.
• Knowledge of beauty products and services.
• Ability to conduct consultations and demonstrate application.
• Strong communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders.
• Bend and stretch to stock shelves.
