Beauty Advisor Needed

The London Drugs team is seeking client-focused beauty and cosmetics experts to share their enthusiasm and expertise. As a London Drugs BEAUTY ADVISOR, you’ll be a trusted expert to our customers, helping them select the cosmetics and beauty products best suited to them.

WHAT’S THE JOB ABOUT?

The role of a London Drugs BEAUTY ADVISOR is to help the beauty department meet its sales and marketing goals while providing excellent customer service and retail beauty advice. Specifically, you will:

1. Work independently to advise clients on products and services throughout the beauty and cosmetic department.
2. Position London Drugs as the destination for trusted beauty and cosmetics expertise.
3. Provide quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
4. Stay up-to-date on department and store products and promotions.
5. Set up and work with promotional displays and point-of-sale merchandising tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

Need to have:

• Proven skills to advise customers on beauty products, services, and promotions.
• Excellent knowledge of various beauty products and the ability to demonstrate their use.
• Superior makeup and cosmetic application skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, including evenings and weekends.
• Clear and positive communication skills with customers, vendors, employees, and management.
• A professional image and demeanor reflecting positively on the cosmetics department and London Drugs brand.
• Flexibility and a positive attitude towards change.
• A keen interest in learning more about health, fashion, and beauty.

Nice to have:

• Experience as a makeup artist, cosmetician, beauty advisor, counter manager, skin care specialist, or similar role.
• Education in aesthetics, makeup design, or related fields.
• Understanding of retail merchandising.
