Gowling WLG is seeking a BD & Marketing Manager for the Ottawa office. You will elevate the Firm’s visibility, engage with the community, and partner with senior leadership to drive growth.

The role requires strategic BD and marketing leadership, strong relationships, and a can‑do, business‑minded approach to execution. Responsibilities include shaping local market strategy, managing sponsorships and partnerships, and coordinating with national teams to align local priorities with firm-wide

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead local market visibility and positioning through strategic BD & Marketing activities.
• Develop and implement annual and quarterly local market engagement plans with community participation.
• Oversee the office's local engagement budget, manage vendors, sponsorships, and partnerships.
• Collaborate with the Office Managing Partner to strengthen key client relationships and cross-office collaboration.
