Job summary

Moment Energy Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to support the production of our battery energy storage systems. This entry-level role involves assembling components, preparing materials, and learning manufacturing processes under the guidance of an experienced Lead Hand.

You will develop hands-on skills in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with a close-knit team, and contribute to delivering high-quality products that power a greener future.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with an interest in hands-on manufacturing work.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools in a production environment.
• Ability to accurately follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), visual work instructions, and assembly checklists.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to coaching and feedback.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and collaborative work environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive assembly tasks, and lift up to 23 kg.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly tasks such as wire stripping, mounting small hardware, preparing mechanical sub-assemblies, and labeling cables.
• Safely and effectively use standard hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, wire cutters, manual crimpers, and torque wrenches, to build products to exact specifications.
• Follow visual, step-by-step Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assembly checklists to ensure consistent quality and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation in accordance with 5S standards.
