Job summary

Chartright Air Group in Canada is seeking a Base AME to manage maintenance for Challenger 350 and Bell 407, primarily in Moncton (YQM). You will plan, coordinate, and perform work to keep aircraft airworthy and on schedule.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain accurate records, and work independently to solve technical challenges with a focus on client experience. Qualified candidates bring a valid M2 license, 5+ years’ experience, and the ability to read manuals and service

Qualifications

  • Valid Canadian AME M2 license required.
  • Minimum 5 years licensed experience.
  • Challenger 350 and Bell 407 maintenance experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read maintenance manuals and drawings.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Base AME maintenance support for Challenger 350 and Bell 407 in Moncton.
  • Ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Dismantle, repair, and reinstall aircraft systems.
  • Maintain Transport Canada compliant technical records.
  • Coordinate with crew and schedule maintenance.

Role Summary:

As the Base AME, you will be responsible for managing multiple company aircraft primarily in Moncton (YQM). You will plan, coordinate, and perform maintenance activities to ensure aircraft airworthiness, reliability, and operational readiness, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and flight schedules.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced AME who enjoys working independently, solving technical challenges and having a direct impact on aircraft availability and client experience.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide Base AME maintenance support for Challenger 350 and Bell 407 aircraft in Moncton (YQM) as well as on additional Chartright aircraft as required to support operational needs.
  • Play a key role in keeping private aircraft operational by performing maintenance in full compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
  • Dismantle and assemble aircraft systems for repair and overhaul.
  • Trouble shoot aircraft defects and carry out corrective action.
  • Remove, install, and functionally test aircraft components.
  • Certify that all technical records are originated and retained for all inspections and maintenance functions.
  • Maintain accurate technical records and ensure all maintenance documentations meet Transport Canada standards.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Transport Canada regulations and company procedures.
  • Ensure only approved equipment and materials are used while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
  • Work in compliance with all regulatory requirements and company-wide, maintenance, and health & safety policies and procedures.
  • May be assigned to other operational areas, based on business requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
  • Valid Canadian AME M2 license.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed M2 AME.
  • Challenger 350 and Helicopter Bell 407 maintenance certification are considered assets.
  • Strong ability to read, understand and interpret technical publications, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Sound knowledge of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, aircraft structures and basic applied mechanics, with proven diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Hands- on experience with disassembling aircraft systems, removal of defective components and installing replacement parts, components and structures.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and an effective communicator with a professional, ethical approach and a commitment to excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong capacity to learn, adapt and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to qualify for a RAIC and AVOP passes.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Flexibility to work on a schedule that accommodates aircraft departure and arrival times.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, which include climbing into/under various aircraft; walking around, standing, and crouching, all for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 23 kg.

Hours of Work:Hours of work are based on aircraft schedules and operational requirements and may require flexibility beyond established working hours.
