Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Building Automation System (BAS) Estimator in Mississauga, Canada.

You will review drawings, perform site takeoffs, and develop detailed BAS cost estimates for control systems and electrical components. You will collaborate with engineering, sales, project management, and procurement to ensure cost-effective project execution, leveraging Delta/Schneider/Distech knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of BAS project estimating experience with control systems such as Delta/Schneider/Distech.
Strong BAS systems knowledge; experience with electrical installation estimating is a plus.
Ability to read mechanical, electrical and architectural drawings.
Comfort with site visits and field measurements for estimates.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proficient in estimating software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Review drawings and specs to prepare accurate BAS estimates.
Conduct site visits and takeoffs to verify quantities.
Develop detailed, competitive BAS installation cost estimates.
Collaborate with engineering, sales, project management, and procurement.
Inform estimating decisions using BAS manufacturers like Delta, Schneider, Distech.
Analyze labor, material, and subcontractor costs for BAS and electrical installs.
Maintain documentation of estimates, assumptions, and data.
Participate in bid reviews and post-bid analysis.
