Job summary

Murphy Hospitality Group is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable bartender for The Barrington Steakhouse & Oyster Bar to deliver exceptional service and craft cocktails. You will advise guests, take orders, and create drinks that showcase our selection of wines and local ingredients.

Join a team focused on a memorable dining experience, safety, and guest satisfaction. Some shifts include Closing Supervisor duties, with a $1 per hour wage increase when applicable.

Qualifications

• High-end bartending experience is an asset.
• Good working knowledge of classic cocktails.
• Advanced wine knowledge is an asset.
• Knowledge of Aloha POS is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Advise guests regarding contents of drinks, cocktails, and beer - share knowledge of products.
• Take orders from guests, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.
• Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Relay menu items and products to provide optimum guest service.
• Enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations.
• Clean draft beer system, bar area and glassware.
• Provide seamless guest service with timely service and upbeat personality.
• Work with the restaurant team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere.

As a Bartender, You Will

• Advise guests regarding contents of drinks, cocktails, and beer - We want you to share your knowledge of our products

• Work alongside the restaurant team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere
• This position will at times be responsible for Closing Supervisor duties. During these occasions, wage will be increased by $1 per hour.
