Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a bartender to deliver exceptional service in a scenic national park setting. You will mix beverages, maintain product knowledge, and support a high-standard lounge experience for guests.

The role requires bartending experience, a passion for mixology, and physical stamina for busy shifts. Permanent, on-site work with comprehensive benefits is offered at Banff's iconic lakefront property.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in food and beverage, preferably in a restaurant environment.
• Previous bartending experience required.
• Knowledge and interest in wines, liquor and beer.
• Physically fit to lift trays, stand and walk during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverage orders, including a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and inform servers of availability.
• Keep the bar clean and orderly at all times.
• Order stock, manage inventory, and ensure all beverages are accounted for.
• Ensure compliance with provincial liquor regulations.

Job Description

As a Bartender at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and flavors that are hallmarks of our restaurant and lounge experience. Your warm, attentive guest service and passion for mixology are worth raising a glass to.

Rate of Pay: $18.40

Position Type: Permanent

Job Duties Include

• Prepare beverage orders, including a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all products available to the guests, and keep Servers informed of the availability of bar products
• Ensure the bar is kept in a clean and orderly condition at all times
• Order stock, maintain inventory control, and ensure all beverages sold are accounted for
• Ensure compliance with provincial liquor regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience working in food and beverage, preferably in a restaurant environment required
• Previous bartending experience required
• Demonstrates knowledge and interest in wines, liquor and beer
• Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift
