Job summary

Hyatt Regency Calgary is seeking a part-time Bartender to join the Food & Beverage Team. You will welcome guests, take beverage orders, and serve drinks in a hotel bar/restaurant setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience, knowledge of liquors and mixology, and ProServe Certification. Expect flexible shifts and a starting rate of $18/hour with potential for end-of-month beverage inventory responsibilities.

• ProServe Certification required.
• Knowledge of liquors, wines and mixology desirable.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Part-time Bartender to join our Food and Beverage Team

This is an exciting role, which will involve engaging with guests, serving a variety of unique beverages and providing excellent dine-in services to guests.

What is expected of me in this role?

• You will welcome guests to the restaurant - bar, take beverage orders and serve guests.
• Process cash and credit payments.
• Learn beverage menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods, as well as an understanding and awareness of allergens .
• As this role will involve serving alcohol, you will need valid Proserve Certification.
• Responsible for doing the month end beverage inventory
• Knowledge of liquors, wines and mixology
• Able to lift a moderate amount of weight .
• Flexible schedule and shift pattern based upon hotel business.
• One year experience required.

The starting hourly rate for this role is $18 per hour.
