Job summary

Oliver & Bonacini is hiring a part-time Bartender in Toronto to deliver exceptional beverage service, knowledge-driven recommendations, and a polished guest experience at the bar. You will showcase beverages with precision, maintain bar standards, and contribute to a memorable dining experience at Auberge du Pommier.

The position requires at least 2 years of bartending experience in a similar environment, with strong wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge, and availability on weekends, evenings, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years bartending in a similar setting.
• Cocktail batching experience is an asset.
• Impeccable wine, beer and classic cocktail knowledge.
• Passion for food, beverage and guest service.
• Ability to multitask and be a strong lounge server.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift/move kegs and cases.
• Available weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
• You will be responsible for ordering, inventorying and cocktail creation.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive guest experience through attentive service.
• Recommend items with knowledge of menu and beverages.
• Receive and pour drinks according to O&B standards.
• Present beverages clearly at the service bar area.
• Communicate beverage descriptions and specials to guests and team.
• Set up and break down bar area and equipment.
• Stock bar products and maintain mise en place.
• Monitor beer kegs and liquor levels; assist inventory ordering.
