Job summary

We are seeking a bartender to join Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Tecumseh, Ontario. You will mix and serve cocktails, provide outstanding guest service, and contribute to a welcoming bar atmosphere. The role requires attention to detail and a passion for hospitality.

Previous cocktail-bar experience and a valid Smart Serve certificate are preferred. This is an on-site position with afternoon to evening hours, offering team-based collaboration and opportunities to grow within the Crescent brand.

Qualifications

• Previous bartender experience in a cocktail environment.
• High School (Preferred).
• Alcohol Awareness Cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• As our Bartender, you will provide courteous and efficient service with our food & beverage team.
• Greet guests, respond to requests and maintain a clean, organized bar area.
• Share the history behind our signature drinks and engage guests with storytelling.
• Work in a busy, fast-paced environment from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday to Saturday.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

As our Bartender, you will be working with our food & beverage team to provide courteous and efficient service during the afternoon hours of our guests' stay. You will greet our guests, respond to guest requests and serve them in a friendly manner, and go out of your way to ensure guest satisfaction. You will maintain a clean and organized bar and surrounding area, and you understand the "clean as you go" process. You will work as part of a dynamic team in a busy, fast paced, environment. Your key attributes to this position include mixology expertise, excellent customer service, multitasking abilities, and strong communication skills. You are a story teller and are informative about the history behind our unique offerings.

You are self-motivated with a keen attention to detail, have a valid Smart Serve Certificate, and can follow instructions as directed. The only hotel in Tecumseh and the newest one in Windsor Region, we seek to find a friendly, personable and dedicated associate to work with the best! You understand the importance that exceptional customer service keeps our guests returning and you strive to be a part of the success. Please note that our hotel is not located on a bus route - therefore you must have your own transportation. Hours of operation are 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm Monday to Saturday. Closed on Sundays.
