Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Tecumseh, Ontario, is seeking a friendly Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. You will greet guests, take requests, and deliver courteous service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar and sharing the story behind our signature offerings.

The role requires a valid Smart Serve certificate, excellent multitasking and communication, and reliable transportation since the hotel is not on a bus route.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Smart Serve Certificate.
• Experience in bartending and mixology.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Own transportation is preferred as the hotel is not on a bus route.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

As our Bartender, you will be working with our food & beverage team to provide courteous and efficient service during the afternoon hours of our guests' stay. You will greet our guests, respond to guest requests and serve them in a friendly manner, and go out of your way to ensure guest satisfaction. You will maintain a clean and organized bar and surrounding area, and you understand the "clean as you go" process. You will work as part of a dynamic team in a busy, fast paced, environment. Your key attributes to this position include m ixology expertise, excellent customer service, multitasking abilities, and strong communication skills. You are a story teller and are informative about the history behind our unique offerings.

You are self-motivated with a keen attention to detail, have a valid Smart Serve Certificate, and can follow instructions as directed. The only hotel in Tecumseh and the newest one in Windsor Region, we seek to find a friendly, personable and dedicated associate to work with the best! You understand the importance that exceptional customer service keeps our guests returning and you strive to be a part of the success. Please note that our hotel is not located on a bus route - therefore you must have your own transportation. Hours of operation are 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm Monday to Saturday. Closed on Sundays.
