Job summary

Adelaide Hall, a versatile event space and concert venue in downtown Toronto, is seeking a friendly bartender. You will pour draft beers, serve drinks quickly, keep the bar stocked, and help create a welcoming atmosphere during live events.

Adelaide Hall is a versatile event space and concert venue, frequently hosting live music, DJs, club nights, and private events. The venue accommodates up to 475 people and can be easily adapted for any occasion, from a concert or industry night to a private party. With a full production and catering team, 250 Adelaide is an all-encompassing, one-stop shop perfect for any function.

Who You Are

You are a passionate and energetic music lover! As a multifaceted event space & concert venue, Adelaide Hall showcases live music in the heart of Downtown Toronto. Any day of the week, the venue hosts acts of all performance genres to an audience of up to 475. You are:

• Deeply passionate about live music, the arts, and the vibrant Toronto event scene
• Aiming to create a welcoming, positive experience for every guest,

What You'll Do

• Pour draft beers, and serve drinks with speed and accuracy behind the bar
• Keep the drinks and food flowing, the vibes welcoming, and the questions answered
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar setup
• Help create smooth, safe, unforgettable nights while managing guest service directly at the bar

You Bring:

• Great people skills, strong communication, and a “no-panic” approach under pressure
• Solid knowledge of beer, spirits, and classic cocktail recipes
• A passion for creating positive, shareable experiences
• Availability for nights, weekends, and major sporting events
• Valid Smart Serve Certification
