Job summary

AdmitONE, owned by The MRG Group, is seeking a Box Office Representative to provide on-site support to AdmitONE clients and venues during events, handling ticket processing and guest inquiries with a commitment to superb customer service.

You’ll work from venues like The Vogue Theatre, Biltmore Cabaret, and other Toronto-area sites, with occasional travel to offsite locations. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required, and you should be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Evening, weekend and holiday availability required.
• Box office experience or hospitality background preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive ticketing at the Box Office with a focus on customer service.
• Provide support to the Manager, Client Services in box office operations and AdmitONE ticketing.
• Assist at The Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Annabels, Adelaide Hall and other venues for in-person ticket sales and guest inquiries.
• Work at offsite venues to sell or issue event tickets.
• Manage inventory (releases, holds, paid and comp sales).
• Coordinate with venue and production managers pre-show for accurate event details.
• Travel within Toronto venues may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

Reporting directly to the Ticketing Manager, the Box Office Representative will provide on site support to AdmitONE clients and venues in execution of events from a Box Office perspective.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain a positive and proactive approach to ticketing activities at the Box Office with a strong commitment to superior customer service,
• Provide support and assistance to the Manager, Client Services in all areas of Box Office and ticketing operations including ticket processing using AdmitONE,
• Work from The Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Annabels, Adelaide Hall and external venues as required for in-person ticket sales and answering guest questions about AdmitONE and our venues,
• Work at Offsite venues to sell or issue event tickets,
• Inventory Management (releasing holds, processing paid and comp sales),
• Communicate with both venue and production managers pre-show to ensure all event information is received and understood,
• Some travel within Toronto may be required from time to time,
• Other duties as required.

We are looking for someone with:

• Our shows and events take place in the evenings, during weekends and on holidays. As a result, flexibility to work these shifts is required,
• While this role will be located primarily at the The Vogue Theatre and Biltmore Cabaret, flexibility to work the box office at other various venues throughout may be required,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail,
• Ability to maintain strong relationships with those both inside and outside the business,
