Job summary

Two Hills Inn is seeking a bartender/bar staff member to manage day-to-day bar operations, serve beverages and food, and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. This on-site role requires a hands-on approach in a fast-paced rural hotel/bar setting in Canada.

Experience required is 7 months to under 1 year; Smart Serve/ProServe credentials are preferred. Staff accommodation is available, and relocation costs are not covered by the employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in hospitality or bar service.
• On-site work only at the physical location; no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Arrange the bar area to create attractive displays.
• Organize operations of a cocktail lounge or bar.
• Perform short order cooking and food preparation.
• Clean bar area and wash glassware.
• Serve food or snacks and take beverage orders.
• Maintain draft beer system and inventory control.
• Provide drink recommendations to customers.
• Train staff and handle cash/credit payments.
• Operate cash register and point-of-sale systems.
• Address customer concerns and enforce liquor regulations.
