Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa in Canada is seeking a master mixologist to craft cocktails and deliver unforgettable guest experiences. You will take beverage orders, mix drinks, and serve a wide range of beverages for staff and guests in a fast-paced environment. The role includes payments, inventory, and training duties, with opportunities for growth within the team and across the resort.

Qualifications

• Secondary school completion is required.
• College program in bartending or equivalent preferred.
• Responsible Beverage Service Certification is required.
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from staff or guests.
• Mix cocktails, blends, and drinks to guest specs.
• Serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Handle payments and keep sales records accurately.
• Maintain bar stock and inventory management.
• Keep bar area clean and glassware spotless.

Your Role

• Take beverage orders from our amazing serving staff or directly from our fabulous guests.
• Mix magic into every cocktail, blending liquor, soft drinks, and other ingredients to craft the perfect drink.
• Serve up smiles with mixed drinks, wine, beer (draft or bottled), and non-alcoholic beverages for servers or guests.
• Handle payments with precision and keep records of sales.
• Maintain and manage bar stock, ensuring inventory is on point and supplies are always flowing.
• Keep the bar area sparkling clean and wash glassware like a pro.
• Ensure compliance with Nova Scotia liquor laws and regulations (we play by the rules!).
• Assist in training other bartenders and bar staff, sharing your expertise.

What You Bring

• Completion of secondary school (required).
• College program in bartending, courses in mixology, or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Responsible Beverage Service Certification (required).
• A passion for hospitality, creativity in drink-making, and a knack for making guests feel special.
