For over 40 years, Bridgehead has been sourcing and supporting a family of small-scale, sustainable farmers around the world. Today, we have 17 locations across Ottawa and employ over 300 team members. We were the first to bring Fairtrade coffee to Ottawa coffeehouses and continue to be a place where you can enjoy an exceptional cup of coffee, directly sourced from global producers. Requirements

• Experience in Customer Service is considered an asset
• Established professional, empathetic, and engaged customer service model
• Team player
• Comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks
• Verified record of punctuality/attendance and time management

Physical Requirements

• Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, twist and lift up to 30 kg, and to work at counter height for up to an 8-hour shift
• Constant computer, POS, and bar equipment use at counter height
• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing and/or rotation of the wrist and spine
• Efficient oral communication, receiving, interpreting, and providing detailed information to customers and employees
• Clarity of vision at near and/or far distance
• Occasionally be able to accurately distinguish and describe flavors and odours.

• Ability to understand and carry out instructions delivered both orally and in written format – and request clarification if necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous coffeehouse or customer service experience
• Safe food handling certificate
• Knowledge and/or love of coffee and tea
