Position Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone to work at the Farmers Market on Saturdays, with occasional shifts at catering events. The role starts at 5 to 10 hours per week, with potential for increased hours.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages to company standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and customer spaces
• Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with guests
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment

Qualifications:

• Barista experience preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• A background in hospitality is an asset
• Food Safe is an asset
• Must be entitled to work in Canada
