Job summary

Spring Creek is seeking Banquet Servers to set up and service catering functions, including meetings, banquets, receptions, and meals, and to perform tear-down after events. You will greet guests, ensure requests are understood, and coordinate with the kitchen on dietary needs.

The role requires standing and walking for long periods, ability to lift up to 10 kg, a friendly demeanor, strong communication, eye for detail, and a ProServe certificate.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet serving or customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 10 kg with ease.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication and attention to detail.
• ProServe certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and service catering functions (meetings, banquets, receptions, meals) and perform tear down after events.
• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and address requests; coordinate with kitchen on dietary needs.
• Monitor and replenish buffet items for presentation and freshness.
• Keep assigned stations clean and organized; clear tables during events.
• Assist with tearing down function spaces after events, clearing dishware and linens and storing tables and chairs.
