Job summary

Pomeroy Lodging in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Banquet Server to support our fast-paced Food & Beverage team, delivering warm, professional service during events.

You will assist in setting up banquet spaces, serve guests promptly, and help with breakdowns after events, ensuring spaces are ready for the next sequence.

Experience in a server role is an asset; ProServe certification is required. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to grow within our hotels.

• Previous experience as a server or in a food & beverage position is an asset.
• Tech savvy.
• ProServe certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet spaces according to plans, including table arrangements, decorations, table linens, and table settings.
• Serve food and beverages to guests promptly, courteously, and professionally.
• Assist in the assembly and breakdown of all banquet displays and decorations.
• Clear tables and clean banquet areas after events, ensuring spaces are ready for future use.
• Adhere to all regulations governing the service of food and alcohol.
