Job summary

Germain Hotels group’s Terre Restaurant is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join the dynamic banquet team as bartenders or servers for our banquet and event services. This on-call role offers flexible hours and a fast-paced environment where you’ll be at the heart of every celebration, mixing great drinks or delivering standout service and helping set the tone for memorable moments.

You’ll work on a variety of events, from buffets to receptions, with focus on guest anticipation, clean work

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant service.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.
• Excellent stress and time management.
• Sociable and team player with good communication.
• Flexible, on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Help set up, open and close the catering area.
• S erve all food and beverages on different occasions such as buffets, cocktail events or receptions.
• Anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge guests throughout the service to offer them a unique experience.
• Ensure that the working environment and equipment are always clean, disinfected and well organized.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Experience in restaurant service
• Good physical condition: must be able to stand for several hours at a time and lift/carry loads of up to 50 lb
• Excellent stress and pressure management skills
• Sociable and team player
• Natural ability to communicate well
