Job summary

Jobtailor in Ontario, Canada seeks an undergraduate student to help refine the Business Banking Operations Strategy during a 4-month term. You will support strategy enablers, engage with leaders to update team homepages, and participate in improvement discussions to socialize optimization ideas across processes and tools.

The role focuses on continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and fostering an equitable, collaborative environment within a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field.
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term.
• Solid interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Ability to negotiate, influence and collaborate to build successful relationships.
• Ability to effectively work in teams with multiple stakeholders and to influence and align others.
• Excellent analytical skills in assessing risk, issues and challenging the status quo.
• Understanding and ability to apply the principles of the Scaled Agile project methodology would be an asset.
• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma and process optimization fundamentals would be an asset.
• Must be available for a 4 month work term (January 4th, 2027 - April 23rd, 2027).
• Must submit a cover letter, resume and most recent academic transcript.
• Must reside in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the refinement of the Business Banking Operations Strategy and ongoing monitoring activities.
• Support delivery of strategy enablers required to mature Business Banking Operations.
• Work with Business Banking Operations leaders to establish and update team overview homepages.
• Participate in process improvement conversations to discover and socialize optimization enhancements to existing processes and tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through timely feedback, knowledge sharing and collaboration with team members.
• Contribute to a fair, positive and equitable environment supporting a diverse workforce.
