BeachHead Inc. is seeking an Operations professional for a Banking Operations Analyst - Trade Settlements/DTC/CDS role in Toronto.

This six-month contract provides day-to-day support across segregation, trade inputs and settlements with structured training and potential for extension or conversion. Responsibilities include processing settlements, reviewing depository records, maintaining books of record, reconciling requests, and generating operational reports.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant administrative experience.
• Post-secondary diploma in any discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs.

Responsabilités

• Process trade settlement and share movement activities accurately and within required deadlines.
• Review depository records and contact relevant parties regarding deliveries, extensions and expected receipt of shares.
• Enter and maintain information in books of record and internal bookkeeping systems.
• Reconcile processing requests against applicable records and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare operational reports and support routine reporting requirements.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with brokers and internal partners.
• Respond to correspondence from traders and follow up on outstanding operational items.
• Provide general to specialized processing support within the Operations function.
• Help maintain compliance with audit requirements and applicable regulatory processes.
• Manage assigned deliverables independently while collaborating with colleagues to resolve issues.
• Maintain a high level of speed, accuracy and quality across daily activities.

Are you an operations professional with strong attention to detail and an interest in trade settlements?

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for aBanking Operations Analyst-Trade Settlements/DTC/CDS to provide day-to-day support across segregation, trade inputs and settlements. This six-month contract assignment offers a collaborative team environment, structured training and potential for extension or conversion.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $27.70/hr

Nice to Have

• Experience using depositories such as CDS or DTC.
• Two to five years of experience across the trade lifecycle.
• Experience with trade settlements, share movements, operational reporting or internal bookkeeping.
