Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. in Mississauga, Ontario, seeks an experienced project/PM professional with Banking/Capital Markets expertise to lead complex data-driven initiatives.

This on-site role requires strong SQL, Python, Kafka, REST APIs, and ETL skills to design, implement, and govern data integration and real-time processing pipelines. You will work with cross-functional teams, adhere to governance and security standards, and mentor junior staff while delivering projects on time

Qualifications

• Experience in Banking/Capital markets domain.
• Strong SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and query optimization.
• Proficient in UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Python proficiency for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and real-time data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of JSON, REST APIs, microservices and system integrations.
• Experience with ETL/Data Integration and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Reconciliation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and delivery.
• Create and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and executive dashboards.
• Lead cross-functional teams comprising developers, architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into deliverable solutions.
• Ensure adherence to quality, governance, compliance, and security standards.
• Track project metrics and provide regular updates to leadership and clients.
• Lead technical delivery for multiple projects/programs simultaneously.
• Work closely with architects and development teams to define solution approaches.
• Review technical designs, data flows, integration patterns, and implementation plans.
• Drive issue resolution, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
• Facilitate communication between business users, product owners, and technical teams.
• Ensure successful deployment, production rollout, and post-implementation support.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in project delivery.
