Job description

This unique position leverages your client-focused sales expertise and natural problem-solving skills to maximize each client interaction. You will assist clients with their everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. As an RBC ambassador, you add value during key moments, collaborating with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals. Whether demonstrating digital banking, onboarding new clients, or referring complex opportunities to specialists, your expertise will contribute to creating meaningful and memorable client experiences that drive satisfaction and loyalty.

What will you do?

  1. Proactively engage with clients in branch and community settings to uncover banking needs, provide advice, and identify sales and referral opportunities.
  2. Focus on client education and demonstrations, leveraging technology to deliver memorable experiences, drive sales, and retain business.
  3. Respond to client-initiated contact, assisting with a full range of financial transactions.
  4. Actively listen and engage clients to understand their individual needs.
  5. Take ownership of resolving and preventing banking problems.
  6. Maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

What do you need to succeed?

  1. Mutual Funds accreditation or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
  2. A passion for putting clients first and success in a target-driven sales environment.
  3. Problem-solving and people skills to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients.
  4. Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong ethics, and a hunger for success.
  5. Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).
  6. Fluency in both French and English to serve diverse clients.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry.
