Calgary Co-op is hiring for a Bakery Utility Clerk to support daily bakery operations and customer service. You will ensure a safe, clean, and efficient department by handling orders, stocking displays, and maintaining accurate pricing and presentation.

Qualifications

• Grade 9 or acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Bakery retail or related retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and maintain positive relations.
• Operate bakery utility tasks including ovens, platter prep, and cake icing.
• Handle merchandise, ensure price integrity and stock levels.
• Keep sales floor and back stock clean and organized.
• Follow occupational health, food safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain and report on equipment upkeep and repair needs.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and supplies.
• Assist in receiving, invoicing, transfers, returns and storage.
• Assist in inventory organization.
