Walmart Canada seeks a Bakery Associate in Sylvan Lake, AB. You will help deliver great customer service, maintain and stock the Bakery Department, and ensure merchandise is priced and signed correctly. You will follow food safety and sanitation procedures and support with ordering and display upkeep.

Responsabilités

• Maintain quality and visual appeal of Bakery Department items (bread, cakes, pies, cookies, rolls).
• Keep department fully stocked and ready for business.
• Ensure items are signed and priced correctly.
• Follow cold chain, thermometer calibrations, and temperature records for food safety.
• Adhere to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Assist with ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, labeling and pricing tasks.
• Prepare bakery merchandise according to thawing and baking guidelines.
• Ensure displays are secured and safe.

What You'll Do...

• Ensures the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise; such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensures that department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Adheres to food safety and handling procedures and following sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensures all displays are secured in a safe and proper manner.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.95.
