Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic bakery principles, various baking methods, and food safety regulations
• Experience with pre-ferments such as levain, poolish, and sponge
• Willingness to work early mornings and weekends
• A passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and multitask effectively
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Most importantly, a willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Measure, mix, scale, need, hand-shape, and score bread
• Bake traditional bread and bakery products
• Operate bakery equipment such as commercial mixers, rack ovens, proofers, and bread slicers
• Maintain quality, cleanliness, and merchandising standards
• Keep the work area clean and sanitized
• Store food properly following food safety policies and procedures
• Handle customer inquiries and provide a positive experience
• Position Type: Full-Time
• Wage: $18.00 - $25.00 / hour
