Job summary

SuperValu Gibsons is seeking a skilled Baker to join our bakery team in Gibsons. You'll handle full-day production - from mixing to baking - while helping us deliver high-quality baked goods customers love.

Qualifications

• 3 years' equivalent experience in production baking.
• Red Seal baker certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Produce consistent, high-quality breads and pastries
• Run daily production (mixing, scaling, shaping, baking) and meet timelines
• Maintain quality standards and troubleshoot product issues
• Assist with ingredient ordering and inventory
• Keep the bakery clean, safe, and well organized
• Support and mentor junior staff
• Help develop and test new products
