Job summary

SOTI Inc. is seeking a Software Developer Intern (Back End) for its Ontario HQ with a hybrid work arrangement. The co-op role focuses on learning through hands-on development of backend services and database components.

You will gain experience with languages such as C#, C++, Java, and SQL, and learn about testing, deployment, and scalable backend architectures in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must understand algorithms, data structures and database fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of SDLC concepts.
• Strong math, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in at least one of C#, C++, Java, SQL.
• Curious and eager to learn as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist back-end development on cloud-based components and server services.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, and product teams.
• Learn testing processes and frameworks to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in design and code reviews and documentation.
• Gain exposure to Jira and Git workflows and backend deployment practices.
