Job summary

SOTI in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our hybrid team. You will design and implement scalable server applications, contribute to the full development life cycle, and help drive architectural and technical decisions.

You’ll work with C#, .NET, WebApi, Rest API, and front-end tech like TypeScript and Angular. The ideal candidate has 8 years of experience, a CS degree, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a passion for innovation and ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM field.
• 8 years of experience as a software developer focused on scalable server applications.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and database concepts.
• Knowledge of C#, WebApi, .NET, Rest API, and networking technologies.
• Front-end familiarity with TypeScript, Angular, HTML and CSS.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ownership and passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions to tackle large industry problems.
• Write well-designed, scalable, reliable, testable and reusable code using best practices and solid principles.
• Provide technical guidance on R&D of new products and services.
• Contribute to the full development life cycle from analysis to testing.
• Detect, report, investigate, and fix defects.
• Automate via unit and integration tests; improve automation coverage.
• Lead on implementation of software solutions in C# and .NET; maintain code quality and documentation.
• Collaborate on projects through code reviews and design discussions; stay current with new technologies.
