Job summary

RONA is seeking team members for Receiving and Handling to ensure smooth product flow from deliveries to store shelves. You will sort, unpack, and transport inventory with forklift and other equipment, maintaining accuracy in receiving documents and inventory records.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and maintain inventory flow to store shelves.
• Sort and unpack product; transport to appropriate areas using equipment.
• Schedule deliveries and space for incoming stock; authorize unscheduled deliveries.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received and recorded paperwork.
• Support store operations to keep the store running smoothly.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
