Job summary

Canada Life is seeking an Accounting System Process Specialist to support complex accounting functions for Public Service Plans. You will manage back-end workflows, perform financial transactions and provide day-to-day operational support to Accounting System Coordinators.

The role emphasizes suspense account activity, reconciliations, and adherence to internal controls, with security clearance required for access to Protected B information.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with an administrative background.
• One year of Community College or related work experience.
• CPA enrollment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee back-end accounting processes across multiple lines of business.
• Analyze suspense accounts and reconcile client records.
• Coordinate with Third Party Payors and external sources to resolve accounting issues.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual suspense account reconciliations.
