Job summary

The Themesoft Inc. team in Toronto offers an Azure Cloud Platform Engineer role focused on designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade Azure data and analytics platforms, including Power BI.

You will design and deploy Azure cloud infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions/Jenkins, and manage Terraform-based IaC while collaborating with data engineering to ensure scalable, cost-effective architectures and robust operational support.

Qualifications

• Power BI platform administration and deployment experience.
• Hands-on Terraform experience for IaC.

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team, focused on designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade Azure data and analytics platforms, including Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and data platform services
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions/Jenkins
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Support and optimize Power BI platform environments
• Collaborate with data engineering teams on scalable, cost-effective architectures
• Troubleshoot platform issues and provide operational support

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on Terraform experience for IaC
• Jenkins, GitHub & GitHub Actions for source control and CI/CD
• Power BI platform administration and deployment experience

Nice to Have

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, DP-203)
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and cost governance
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps
