Job summary

Fountain Tire, based in Edmonton, seeks a Cloud Administrator to join its IT team at the South Edmonton Corporate Head Office. You will deploy, monitor, and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and cost-efficiency across services.

Qualifications include 5+ years of enterprise cloud experience, AZ-104 or equivalent, PowerShell, and IaC (Bicep/Terraform). Strong problem-solving and documentation skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience supporting enterprise cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Must have Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent.
• Certifications such as AZ-305, SC-300, AZ-500 are assets.
• Strong knowledge of Azure administration, backup, disaster recovery, and security.
• Experience with Entra ID, RBAC, identity management, and hybrid networking.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and IaC (Bicep/Terraform).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure across its lifecycle.
• Manage Azure virtual networks, DNS, and hybrid connectivity.
• Administer Azure resource access, identities, and permissions securely.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate escalations.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Automate operations using PowerShell, IaC (Bicep/Terraform).
• Maintain technical documentation and architecture records.
